Training

Training sessions provided by QuickFire EM are tailored to fit the individual needs of the particular organisation. Training is specifically conducted on site and provides both classroom based and practical “walk through” scenarios. The training is designed to heighten staff awareness of their surroundings and the particular building or facilities fire-related features. Staff are instructed on their response to an emergency situation and are given clear and specific information about possibile emergencies and hazards that may occur within a building. This training includes response times, confirmation of location, sprinkler information and the roles of the Chief Warden and Area Wardens.

Training is delivered through either implementation or refresher sessions and provides information on the operation of fire related systems within a building or facility including Fire Indicator Panels (FIPs), Emergency Warning Intercommunication Systems (EWIS) and Occupant Warning Systems (OWS).

Practice drills and evacuations are the final element of the training packages and ensure that staff have gained the skills and knowledge to address an emergency situation within their workplace.
